Pan African musician, Akon has debunk claims trending on social media that he is featuring Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale on an Album dubbed “Akon and Friends”
Fans and lovers of Shatta Wale were full of joy and celebrated the news as it would have increase his brand and status to another level.
However, Akon reacted to the claims as he took to his Twitter handle to describe the news as false and ‘not happening’.
He tweeted “For the record, I am not putting out a reggae compilation called “AKON and Friends“ I don’t know anything about this project, if you see it being promoted it’s not happening”.
