Black Rob has passed away in Atlanta on Saturday (April17) due to kidney failure. He was 51.
Black Rob’s passing comes just a week after DMX’s passing where he offered his condolences from a hospital bed, causing concern among his fans.
The former Bad Boy rapper was best known for his 2000 hit “Whoa”. In 2006 he was sentenced to seven years in prison for grand larceny and was released in 2010. He had a history of health issues including a mild stroke in 2015. Our thoughts and prayers to Black Rob’s family and friends.
