The 26-year-old emo-afrobeats singer had a great 2021 run after his afro-fusion tune ‘Love Nwantiti’ became a global smash hit.
Speaking in an interview at Naija FM, the singer opened up on how the song, which was dropped in 2019, became a global hit in 2021, attributing the success to God and a mauritius disc jockey called DJ Yo, whose version of the song propelled it to the world.
Speaking further in the interview, the singer, who was signed as an artist and producer by Nigerian record label Chocolate City in 2016, has made it known that his contract expired with the outfut in 2020 as he is now with Warner Music South Africa.
