Popular Comedian Ayodeji Makun known as AY , after losing his house to a fire incident, has revealed that his only belongings include shoes , clothes and jewelries he took on his trip before the sad incident.
He took to his Instagram page and said “It feels weird to realize that the only clothes, shoes, and jewelries I have right now are the ones I traveled with.”
He noted that although he was devastated by the loss of his property, he perceives the incident as one of the ordeals he has to overcome in order to achieve greater heights.
According to him “We shall rebuild our lives using this adversity as a stepping stone to greatness”
He also stated that going back to how he started before his fame would never be an option , concluding that God would never create an avenue for his downfall .
“There is no such thing as going back to square one. God, no go shame us”
Recall that one of the comedian’s house in Lekki , Lagos , Nigeria , reportedly caught fire while he and his family were on a trip outside the country.
He was said to have lost properties worth millions of naira and his once glamorous home, reduced to ruins and ashes.
