Popular influencer Daniel Regha has expressed his dissatisfaction over Burna Boys new album “I told them”.

The influencer who is known for sharing his opinion on trending issues , took to his X account (formerly known as Twitter) with over 800 thousand followers ,and called out the singer for promoting and encouraging violence through his lyrics .

He said “The entire album promoted pomposity, encouraged violence & explicit lyrics.”

Daniel further lashed at the artist , saying that title of the album has no relation with the songs that make up the album.

“Furthermore, the album title doesn’t correlate with the theme”

He accused the singer of insulting Nigerians in one of the tracks titled “Thanks” featuring J.cole , describing it as uncool and unnecessary.

He also labeled the album to be the worst album released by the musician since the beginning of his musical career and noted that the album is unworthy of the hype it has been getting and not worth the wait it took before its release .

According to him “Burna also dissing Nigerians in “Thanks” ft J. Cole was not cool, plus some intros were not necessary. Its the worst effort from Burna since he started his career.The album was not worth the wait or hype”

The album by Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy was released on the 25th of August 2023, with 15 tracks . The album features top artists like rapper J cole , 21savage and Nigeria’s Seyi Vibes.
