Weeks after Serena and Alexis made a gender reveal video that went viral , the couple has welcomed their second child .

Alexis took to his instagram page today and said

“Welcome, Adira River Ohanian. I’m grateful to report our house is teaming with love, a happy & healthy newborn girl and happy & healthy mama. Feeling grateful. Serena Williams you’ve now given me another incomparable gift , you’re the greatest mother of all time”

In 2017, Serena, one of the greatest players in history, won the Australian Open which is one of her many Grand Slam titles while she was pregnant with the couple’s first child, Olympia

Months later, she battled complications which almost cost her life after developing a blood clot in her lung that came as a result of C-section delivery of her first daughter.

Her husband acknowledged the hospital for the safe delivery of their newborn daughter, Adira, noting that no complication occurred during the delivery .
