Jimmy Fallon has recruited Ariana Grande and Megan Thee Stallion for a new Christmas themed song ‘It Was A…(Masked Christmas)’.
Many holiday songs are released this time of the year but none of them have managed to come close to Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’ which recently achieved Diamond status for moving 10 million copies. Jimmy has created a tune which is relevant to the pandemic times and he encourages listeners to wear a mask, get a vaccine booster shot, and say hey to your folks via Zoom.
“It was a masked Christmas, we stayed in the house / We covered our nose and covered our mouth,” Fallon and Grande sing on the catchy chorus. “But it’s Christmas time / We’ll be in line for a booster.” Ariana sings on her verse, “Last year I was here / Don’t tell me this year’s the same.”
