Ghanaian singer-songwriter and producer, KiDi outdoors his sophomore full-length studio project dubbed ‘The Golden Boy’. Following the success of his preceding single ‘Touch It’, Sugar Daddy as he’s fondly also referred to as presents a 14 track-listing romantic novel with collaborations like Patoranking , Kuami Eugene and Joey B.
Currently signed to three different label namely Lynx Entertainment, MadeInENY and EMPIRE, the 27 year old singer is amongst the new avant-garde of Ghanaian hitmakers, who are all remodeling the game and are playing by rules written by them, changing the status quo of what kind of music to expect these days.
One unconventional thing we don’t really catch sight of in the Ghanaian music scene is an artist’s entire album resonating with the listener without a trick of attention or extra promotional efforts. This is KiDi’s stratagem with studio projects as demonstrated in his debut album ‘Sugar’ and his Blue EP.
After dominating the airwaves with ‘Spiritual’ and ‘Touch It’ both on the album, ‘The Golden Boy’ dropped at the right time to cement his position in our heart and ears. With a proven track record of releasing mesmerizing bops, KiDi’s sophomore album is no different as listeners are promised nothing but a guaranteed entertaining sonical trip.
