“Trendsetter” is the debut studio album by Coi Leray, released on April 8th, 2022, through Republic Records.
On Friday, October 1, 2021, a supporter of Coi took to Twitter to ask her about the status of her upcoming project. “Any updates on the Trend Setter?,” tweeted the fan, to which the “No More Parties” singer responded, “Na I’m sorry.” She elaborated moments later in subsequent posts.
“Feel like I’m ready for an album, but my label doesn’t think so,” she wrote. “So I’m just going with the flow. I hate the flow.”
