WILLOW and Machine Gun Kelly MGK revealed this track, originally titled “Emo Prom,” in an October 2021 conversation for Rolling Stone. Barker revealed that they had a pre-written verse for WILLOW that she decided to rewrite so she could stay true to her own voice.
MGK teased a snippet of the track on TikTok in January 2022, seemingly on the set of a music video with WILLOW.
