Alicia Keys pulls a two-for-one on her eighth studio album, Keys.
Presented with 26 songs on two discs, the “Original” side of the LP features 14 piano ballads, produced entirely by Alicia. It includes the sultry “Best Of Me” and collaborations from Pusha T (“Plentiful”) and Brandi Carlile (“Paper Flowers”).
Over on the “Unlocked Side”, the Grammy Award-winning artist levels up while producer Mike WiLL Made-It on 12 tracks. It includes upbeat versions from the “Original” and new songs including “LALA (Unlocked)” featuring Swae Lee, the Lil Wayne-assisted “Nat King Cole”, and Khalid and Lucky Daye who both appear on “Come for Me.”
Keys follows last year’s album Alicia. Earlier this year, she released the 20th anniversary edition of her iconic debut album, Sons In A Minor.
