Just a week after saddling up in theaters, the soundtrack to the motion picture film, The Harder They Fall has arrived.
Flooded with a star-studded lineup of guests, the compilation album features “My Guns Go Bang” performed by JAY-Z and KiD CuDi, which was teased in its trailer. JAY-Z also returns “King Kong Riddim”, the high-anticipated collaboration featuring Jadakiss, Conway The Machine, BackRoad Gee which was previewed in a promo clip.
Elsewhere, Lauryn Hill collaborates with Fatoumata Diawara for “Black Woman” and Cee-Lo Green performs on “Blackskin Mile”. Other contributors include Barrington Levy, Coffee, Seal, Edi Gathegi, RJ Cyler, Alice Smith, Pretty Yende, Regina King, Laura Mvula, Mayra Andrade.
Directed by Jeymes Samuel and produced by Shawn ‘Jay Z’ Carter, and James Lassiter, drama-western film centers an outlaw and his gang’s quest to take down a crime boss who’s released from prison. The film stars Jonathan Majors, Idris Elba, Zazie Beetz, Regina King, LaKeith Stanfield, RJ Cyler, Delroy Lindo, and Damon Wayans, Jr. The film is streaming on Netflix now.
