On Funk Flex’s famed radio show, the Dallas rapper put on a spectacle to remember.
While Erica Banks’ recent headlines have focused on her spat with Nicki Minaj and her response to fan criticism, she demonstrated that she’s back on the music scene with her performance on HOT 97 with Funk Flex yesterday.
As the show began, the Texas native declared herself “ready for action” and launched into her freestyle.
Even while we know Erica Banks doesn’t like being compared to her label mate Meghan Thee Stallion, DJ Juanyto of HOT 97 delivered a cool mid-tempo beat that might be found on a Meghan Thee Stallion album.
Regardless, Erica delivered a clean and confident performance over the track.
She was able to change up her flow on several occasions, cycling through some of trap’s most catchy rhyme patterns in recent years.
At the end of her minute-and-a-half stanza, she even tossed in a short chorus of “With yo’ crazy ass.”
