Stars align on Smoke DZA and Curren$y’s latest collaboration, “Wish Upon A Star”.
Over a soulful loop, the frequent collaborators reunite on the inspiring anthem. “Wishing upon a star in a roof of a Rolls / a hundred a pair of Air Forces and a ton of gold”, Spitta raps on the opening verse, while The Kushed God follows up with “Enough game for you to soak up quotes / How the fuck you celebrate and woke up broke / Hit that nigga with a pack and have him post up low / They want the old smoke, listen to my old cuts bro”.
Earlier this year, Smoke DZA released his Full Court Press LP with Wiz Khalifa, Big K.R.I.T., and Girl Talk, his Driplomatic Immunity with Nym Lo and 183rd, and Mood Swings with Real Bad Man. Meanwhile, Curren$y released his Spring Clean 2 in June.
