Ahead of the release of his Victor album, Vic Mensa turns up on the project’s latest offering, “LVLN Up”.
Over a boisterous instrumental, the Windy City rapper unleashes his braggadocious bars and reminds folks of his longevity.
“I got a whole new gameplan, I’m doing numbers like Rain Man / How many years I’ve been dope, man?,” asks Vic. “I said fuck it and started a weed brand / And I’m connected like Edison, ay / Meeting with African presidents, ay / I got a plan for the continent, ay,” he continues referencing his 93 Boyz marijuana brand and meeting Akufo-Addo.
“LVLN Up” is the follow-up to Vic Mensa’s previous single “Blue Eyes” and are both off his upcoming sophomore set, Victor due Friday (Sep. 15).
