Yeezy season has returned.
Following a tumultuous rollout and numerous listening events, Kanye West has finally released his long-awaited and tenth studio album, Donda on Sunday morning (Aug. 29).
Named after his late mother, Donda West, Kanye keeps his faith in God and turns up to perseverance over a sonic and trap-infused sound with a touch of nostalgic flows.
The follow-up to his 2019’s Jesus Is King clocks in with 27 tracks including “No Child Left Behind” which was previewed in a Beats By Dre ad, as well as the solo records “Lord I Need You”, “Come To Life”, “Ok Ok Pt. 2”, and “Jesus Lord Pt. 2”. The project features a star-studded line up of guests including JAY-Z who reunites with Ye as The Throne from “Jail“, featuring Francis & The Lights.
Other guests include DaBaby, KiD CuDi, Lil Baby, The Weeknd, Travis Scott, Pop Smoke, Conway The Machine, Westside Gunn, The Lox, Jay Electronica, Swizz Beatz, Ty Dolla $ign, Baby Keem, Lil Durk, Lil Yachty, Young Thug, Playboi Carti, Fivio Foreign, Roddy Ricch, Don Toliver, Tony Williams, Shenseea, Syleena Johnson, Vory, KayCyy, and the Sunday Service. Holy features, Yeezy.
