Freddie Gibbs has finally released his long-awaited fifth solo album, $oul $old $eparately.

The Gary, Indiana rapper releases 15 tracks including the previously release balling anthem “Too Much” featuring Moneybagg Yo and his the gritty “Dark Hearted“. Big Boss Rabbit connects with Rick Ross with “Lobster Omelette”, trades raps with Pusha T for “Gold Rings”, and even taps Scarface on the bonus cut “Decoded”. Other guests include Anderson.Paak, Raekwon, Offset, DJ Paul, Kelly Price, and Musiq Soulchild. Production wise, The Alchemist, Madlib, Boi-1da, Jake One, Justice League, DJ Paul, Kaytranada, and James Blake are among the producers who lend their services behind the boards.

$$$ marks Freddie’s first solo project since 2018’s Freddie. Since then, he’s released a few critically-acclaimed collaborative projects including 2020’s Alfredo produced by The Alchemist, 2019’s Bandana produced by Madlib, and The Alchemist-produced Fetti LP with Curren$y in 2018.

This year, Freddie Gibbs starred in the film Down With The King and has been featured on tracks from DJ Muggs to Meechy Darko, and more.
